CST CAD Navigator 1.4.0.1 released

Our team is glad to present a big update of CST CAD Navigator that brings the G-code generation feature. Version 1.4.0.1 enables to generate G-code from 2D CAD files for different CNC machines: milling, cutting, laser, lathe. The generated code is also compatible with the Grbl controller.

To get started, open your file, go to the Tools tab and select G-code Generation.

On the Properties tab, you can specify additional parameters for contour generation, including radius compensation, lead in and lead out.

On the Processing Queue tab, you can set the sequence in which the contours will be processed.

On the Settings tab, you can select the machine type, its feed rate, specify tools and other parameters to customize G-code to your particular manufacturing process.

In addition to this new feature, the updated version offers:

• improved PDF to DWG/DXF conversion;
• improved export to SVG format;
• improved import of SLDPRT, X_T, X_B formats;
• bug fixes.
